A. C. Spears is an author who seeks to encourage aspiring writers of all ages with tips and writing guides. Beyond that A. C. Spears believes both parents and students need aid to see children make gains in math, science, life skills, and critical thinking in order to be competitive in the world economy. Other countries are investing in their students, it is time we did, too.
Goals
School Board Members are just that - part of a larger group. A. C. Spears hopes to bring new views and a new perspective to the long-standing board. To that end, A. C. Spears has been researching what other countries are doing to prepare their children for the ever-shifting challenges that each generation faces. Having visited multiple countries, A. C. Spears believes that will allow the adoption of the best practices of various places to set Roseville Schools head and shoulders above the rest.
Envision More
Students learn by doing, not just scrolling. We need more hands-on classroom activities.
The next set of jobs that will be highly sought after are skilled trades and ones requiring digital literacy along with critical thinking to determine what is accurate information and what is not. This requires the ability to do proper research, dig down to the original sources, and then convey the answers to others in a clear, concise, and cohesive manner. That means having strong language skills in order to choose the best words and the math skills to sort the data and process it into useful forms.
